About the Classes

• Open Level Classes

  While not suitable for complete beginners, dancers with more & less experience can benefit from the classes. Open-level classes make dance accessible, regardless of experience, & emphasise the journey of self-expression & improvement rather than competition. It’s an excellent way to nurture a love for dance and build a diverse community.

  Anyone who is familiar with some basic swing dance moves (swing out, circle, tuck turn etc.) and more experienced dancers could join the classes.

• Swing & Movement

  The classes are designed to enhance your dancing skills and expand your horizons. We believe in a holistic approach to movement. We offer a diverse range of movement & swing dance classes to keep you groovin’ and feelin’ great.

• Theme Classes

  At Swing Along Festival, we believe in the power of choice and variety. You can create your own festival experience. Theme classes will be available on a first come, first served basis, and some might be sold out earlier than others. Register early to have more choices.

• Groovin' Pass Project

  The joy of dance, music & the magic of festivals should be more accessible. That’s why we are launching Groovin’ Pass Project.

  We’re offering a free festival pass to an individual who is passionate about swing dancing & the festival experience but face financial constraints. All you need to do is send us through a short motivation letter (no more than an A4 page). Let us know what attending the festival would mean to you.
